Our history says we come from a land that was pure and pristine, rich and plentiful. Our origins, from within the bosom of Papatūānuku, reach as far as the stars amongst Ranginui. These roots, these bloodlines gave birth to many gods, ancestors, kaitiaki, warriors, navigators, cultivators, educators, who wove together... more about bloodlines.
Traditionally Māori were an auahi kore / smokefree culture. Auahi Kore works to change attitudes towards smoking, encourage Māori to either stop smoking or not to start and to reclaim this smokefree status.
